Take a look into my life as I live the wonderful, difficult, rewarding, never-ending, happy, sad and amazing life as a military-wife, former college instructor, mother of three insanely wonderful children, two of the fattest cats you will ever see in your life, one tiny kitten named Oreo, and a career that is constantly getting derailed.

Vacation Day Eight
Today was a wonderful day. We woke up to Tony's mom and donuts. We visited for a while and then got dressed and headed to have lunch with Dave and his wife, and Dave's parents. I love them! They are awesome! Then we walked around the mall for a bit. Later on, we (me, Tony, Heather and Kevin) met up with Justin and his girlfriend for dinner at a little Italian place. We had so much fun. We were there for three hours before we finally decided to leave. Now, it's time to pack and I'm so sad to leave. I am going to miss everyone so much!!!

Vacation Day Seven - Phillies Game
Today I really felt myself slowing down. I think the vacation and all the fun stuff we have been doing is just too much for me! I am exhausted!!! But, I pulled myself out of bed and headed to the Phillies game. It was so exciting because we love the Phillies and today was a fan photo day where we stood out on the field and the players came by and we were able to take pictures. Unfortunately, it was 100 degrees outside (literally) and I was about to die. I went back up to the seats and Tony stayed down to take the pictures. Two hours late the game started but I only lasted to the third inning before I felt like I may drop dead. So, we left. I felt so bad considering all the time, energy and money Tony invested into getting us to the game. I cried I felt so bad, but I guess that's life. :-(

Vacation Day Six
Today was great. We got up and headed out of our hotel on the Jersey Shore. Once we got back to Philly, we went to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and a Darwin museum. It was totally cool (I love history!). After that, we went to this awesome mall with these great stores (I'm going back there before we leave!) Then we headed back to Heather's so me and Luci could take a nap. We were so exhausted. Around 6:30 p.m. we all got up and got ready to go out. Heather, Kevin (Heather's b-friend), me and Tony headed to a casino and then a bar. We had a blast! Now, off to bed. Soooo sleepy!

Vacation Day Five
Today was a long day! We got up early and headed to Wildwood, New Jersey. We got a hotel on the beach and got settled in before heading to the boardwalk for lunch. Then we swam for awhile back at the hotel. I have pictures of Luci in the pool. She kept trying to swim and it was so adorable! Then we rested for awhile in the room while Luci took a nap. We finally had to wake her up and we headed to the boardwalk for dinner. We ate at this 50s diner and it was super cool. Luci loved the food and it had a great atmosphere. Then we walked the boardwalk for the next four hours playing games and eating yummy boardwalk treats. We just made it back to the hotel and I swear my feet feel like they are about to fall off. Headed back to Philly in the morning! Yay!!

Vacation Day Four
Well, today was definately a rest day. Luci and I stayed in bed until 3 p.m. We would wake up, play for awhile and then go back to sleep. Once we were finally up and dressed, we drove like twenty mintues to the nearest Sonic. Oh, it was wonderful! I was a happy girl. Then we ate dinner (yummy pizza of course) and Tony's aunt's house, then headed back to Tony's sister's house for the night. Wildwoods, NJ in the morning for a day on the boardwalk!

Vacation Day Three - New York City
We got up super early today and headed to New York City. DREAM COME TRUE! We parked in Staten Island and took the ferry to Manhattan. It was amazing. We shopped and walked for almost 12 hours. There is so much that can be said about New York. But, I'm just gonna say this: It was life changing. It was captivating. I am seriously thinking about packing up the kids and moving there. Seriously.

Vacation Day Two
Day two of our vacation started with sleeping in. We tried catching up on our sleep but Tony had to get up early, of course. Luci and I, however, slept in til around noon. It was great! Then we got dressed and went to the mall. I went into a Macy's for the first time....it was just like Dillards. So, then we came back to Heather's and got ready to meet Anna for dinner. We went to Chickie's and Pete's and ate some yummy food. I had a Philly Cheese Steak...second one I've had since I've been here! SO yummy! Luci absolutely loves it and every time I give her a piece she does the infamous Yum Yum dance! Too cute!

Vacation Day One
So day one of our vacation has come to an end. It was so fabulous. Tony woke me and the baby up around 9:30 a.m. and we got ready to go to the marina. Tony's parents have a boat there, so we drove over to New Jersey and ate breakfast there (they had grits and they were good!) It was so funny because the lady asked Tony what he wanted to drink and he said sweet tea. Oh I died - too funny! I have make him a southern man! LOLOL Then we all went on the boat for awhile. We went up and down the Delaware river and got to see Philly from the river. It was amazing! Even Luci liked riding on the boat - however, she did get so relaxed that she took a nap right there on Tony's lap. After that, we went to the pool at the marina then headed to Tony's parent's house in Jersey. We ordered dinner and I proceeded to eat the best pizza and Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches I have ever had in the life! Praise the Lord!
