I woke up totally sick today. LIke, I couldn't get out of the bed. Poor Tony had to take care of all the kids and finish grouting the tile in the kitchen. HA....I finally got out of the bed at 3pm when Mama came to get me to take me to the ER. I've been here before of course. This is the third time in the last 20 months that I've gotten sick like this. The last two times were pneumonia so I have to be really careful now. I don't want to end up in the hospital again for a week. That was NOT fun. Once I got back to see the doctor, she said it wasn't pneumonia yet (thank goodness) and prescribed antibiotics and steroids. I am already feeling better with the exception of the breathing. It is still really hard for me to take a deep breath. But, right now I'm hooked up to Keaton's breathing machine and I think it is really helping.
BTW, is anyone else watching Dancing With The Stars? I love Kirstie - I am a die-hard fan, but does anyone else think the karate kid is kinda adorable?
Take a look into my life as I live the wonderful, difficult, rewarding, never-ending, happy, sad and amazing life as a military-wife, former college instructor, mother of three insanely wonderful children, two of the fattest cats you will ever see in your life, one tiny kitten named Oreo, and a career that is constantly getting derailed.

Hello, my name is Psycho Mama
So, you know that sick thing Tony mentioned yesterday? Yeah, he was right. I woke up this morning with a fever, chills, body aches and uncontrollable coughing. It sucks! I couldn't roll out of bed until 1 pm when my mom came over and forced me into the shower. I did, however, feel more human after the shower. Then all the kids really started getting on my nerves and I just got fed up. I went all psycho mom on them and started yelling and even took their door off (they keep locking it and I keep saying if they do not stop I was taking it off the hinges). Well, I meant it today. So, now everyone - except Luci of course - is on their best behavior. HA!

What It's Like To Be 28
So, being 28 feels old. Old as dirt. My body aches all over. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond earlier to buy this turquoise bath rug I saw in the ad (it's nice btw) and I was there for like five minutes and I had to leave because I was hurting so bad. I've been taking pain pills for two weeks because of my tooth so I thought I was having withdrawals. I was like, oh crap, I'm addicted to pain pills! But, when I got home and told Tony, he asked me what I was taking, and I showed him the bottle and it's only Motrin. HA HA. So, apparently, I'm getting sick and that's why I was hurting all over. Not because of some crazy addiction. LOL Only I would think that. He told me that I'm probably getting sick because of all the coughing I'm doing. I didn't even put two and two together. Duh.
So, I was overwhelmed with nice birthday comments people left on my Facebook page. I mean, I know I've been kinda depressed lately and I've definitely felt alone, but I really felt better reading sweet messages from my friends. So, I'm starting to feel better. I'm also quite proud that I made through my birthday and didn't eat one bite of cake. I didn't buy or make one so that helps. However, I do have a coupon for an ice cream cake so I don't think I can pass that up! Yummy!

Last day of being 27
So, this is the last day of being 27. How weird. It's been a pretty sucky week, but hopefully it gets better. I have been dealing with drama from someone I thought was my friend...turned out they weren't. But, that's ok. At least I know now so I do not waste any more of my time on them. It was pretty crazy to say the least so I am thankful to have that craziness gone. Now, I just concentrate on my family and my true friends. Thankfully last week was great because Mandie was here all week! I am so thankful for her! We have so much fun when she is here, however, she has to work for a living so I had to let her go back home. UGH!
My tooth still hurts and so I went into the dentist today. They took an x-ray and the doc said all is well. Thank goodness! I was so scared I would have to have a root canal. However, he said I have to wait until it's not irritated anymore before I can get the permanent crown. Ugh! So, if the temporary crown is what is irritating my tooth, then what do I do if it stays sore?
So, I got all my stuff tagged and dropped off at the sale. Hopefully I get enough money to go pay off my designer jeans I put on layaway at The Buckle when Mandie was here. They are so cute but damn I didn't know designer jeans cost more than $100 a piece! WOW But, at least they have rhinestones all over the butt. HAHAHA So, yeah that's pretty exciting. I'm hoping I get that maid I wanted for my birthday...I have a feeling I'll have to call and schedule it if it's going to happen. Oh yeah, Tony is getting me this painting I wanted for my birthday. It's on etsy. Here's the link ---> http://www.etsy.com/listing/55921565/original-modern-contemporary-abstract
The lady is gonna make it to match my living room colors. I'm so excited!!! yay! So, tomorrow, I will write and let you know what 28 feels like. ;-)

Hoarding...really?
So, I'm totally into the couponing thing. I have my book. I know my deals. I semi know what I'm doing. However, like most you use coupons and search out deals, you sorta have to buy stuff when it is on sale. So, that's what I've been doing. Now, my husband is aging I'm hoarding stuff because I'm buying stuff we don't necessarily need right now. I can't make him understand that we use this stuff and just because we aren't out of it yet, doesn't mean we won't be out of it soon and why wait until then to buy it when its on sale now? He still doesn't get it. Sigh.
Life has been pretty busy lately, but the main thing we have been doing is spring cleaning. Today we bought an antique cedar chest and moved the crib into Veronica's room. We put the cedar chest at the end of our bed and put all of our blankets in it along with my scarfs. Our room looks so much bigger! We are so excited! I am about to start on the Twice As Nice sale. I wasn't going to do it this year but I just have so many clothes that I might as well. I pulled a few pieces out to eBay though.
Last week I picked out my dress for the Seabee Ball. It's expensive and I haven't told Tony how much so I'm not going to post it. LOL But, let's just say every dime I make between now and April 1st is going to have to go toward the dress. :-)
