So, I have been so emotional today. I cried at commercials and at Desperate Housewives! LOL Then, I looked at the baby and started to cry because I love her so much. It was so pathetic! Now, I'm watching Bridezillas and I'm not crying anymore and now it's just funny. It's been a great month...today me and Mama went to Cheryl's house and got our hair cut. It was so fun and I loved her house! Friday I went to Blue Cliff and got my massage and my nails and wax done. It was fun but I missed my dude at Happy Nails. I'm gonna go back to him from now on.
Mama got a job! YAY! She is the Executive Editor at the Ocean Springs Gazette. And, in December, she is moving into a house just down the street. YAY! So, when the kids piss me off, I'm sending them down the block to her house. HAHAH
Take a look into my life as I live the wonderful, difficult, rewarding, never-ending, happy, sad and amazing life as a military-wife, former college instructor, mother of three insanely wonderful children, two of the fattest cats you will ever see in your life, one tiny kitten named Oreo, and a career that is constantly getting derailed.

The best clothes in the world?
I got Luci to sleep last night so I was able to get up and be productive this morning. And, I was feeling terrible so it was a great thing I had enough energy to drape myself to the doctor. I also took Veronica with me so she could get her flu shot and second Gardasil shot. Anyway, the doc put me on antibiotics and told me to go home and go to sleep. I stopped by the Exchange to buy Veronica a jacket, then stopped by the chiropractor, then dropped Veronica off at school around 10 a.m.
I was welcomed home by a huge spider. Thank goodness my Terminix guy - Ray - is coming in the morning. I straightened the house up a bit and now me and lil bit are relaxing in the bed. I guess we are gonna take a nap until Jaeleigh gets home.
Speaking of Jaeleigh - this morning she told me that some girl made fun of her shirt yesterday. So, I said, "Tell her that she is just jealous that you have nice clothes and she doesn't." Now, I'm wondering if that was the right thing to say....hmmm. And, she quickly said, "I am so lucky that I have all these clothes that I have to squeeze them together, and that you have money to buy me new clothes all the time...and that girl doesn't." Oh Lord, now I feel guilty. Another bad mommy move on my part. Damn. Well, she does have the best clothes of any little girl I've ever seen. Her teacher even sent a note home praising my style! That's crazy! Her teacher also told her that she wished I was her mommy and would dress her. OMG Well, I guess I do one thing well. Now, nap time.

Mandie Time
LIfe has been busy. Mandie has been going through a tough time so I have been spending as much time with her as I can. I went to Papa's the weekend before last and we all went to the OctoberFest in Osyka. Loved it! The girls and I ate at the Hat Saturday night then hit up the Mallard. I actually had a great time! I came home Sunday to watch the Saints. UGH!
Then this weekend Mandie came to the coast and stayed with me for a few days. We had to do the whole spontaneous thing and go get tattoos of a cross behind our left ear. Thankfully, it didn't hurt. So, it means that no matter how hard times get, God is always there to help us through it.
That's our second matching tattoo. :-) This also marks my 5th. I only want two more though - a matching one with Tony and a fleur de lis with my mom on her 50th birthday this December. I'm making her. He he
Did I mention we went shopping. That girl and I can shop. On Saturday we shopped for six hours straight. And, that was just one day. I spend my entire paycheck! OMG It was so fun though. We do that like every three months or so. And, it's even better now that I have lost 35 pounds - I can fit into stuff. And, I've discovered shoes. I love shoes. Now, I just gotta figure out how to get Tony's stuff out of the closet so I can have more room. ;-)

It's October!
Had a great weekend! Headed to Papa's on Friday and then Saturday me and Savannah got dressed up and we all went to the Fall Fest in Osyka. It was great to be back home. I even saw Holly there for a second. Saturday night I got all dolled up and went to the mexican place and then to the Mallard. It was me, Mandie, Holly, Heather, Danny, and Amber. We were out on the dance floor until 2 a.m. I even danced for the first time since my wedding! yay!! We had so much fun! It is so great to hang out with my girlfriends.

September Update
Wow it's been awhile since I have written. I have been working so much. I have been teaching five or six classes at a time and when I am not working, I am taking care of these crazy chaps. I am taking Luci to all these appointments lately. Last week I told her to a peds neurologist in Mobile and he thinks that Luci has a form of Narcolepsy. It's been a little stressful, but it is not really serious so I am trying to not make a big deal out of it.
Wednesday I went to Slidell for a dermatology appointment. I really liked her but I called Tricare to change to a local doctor. I did this because she said I needed to come every two weeks for a fruit acid peel and I don't want to drive 120 miles every two weeks. This weekend the kids seemed to have a great time. Last night, Wendy and Ashton picked up Veronica and Jaeleigh and took them to the football game. Jaeleigh spent the night and then Ashton took all three of them to the water sprinkler park down by the beach. I hope they had fun. Luci has been sleeping a few hours in her bed. Last night, she slept four hours in her bed. I'm so proud of her!

Weekend.
What a weekend. Tony had to work Saturday which totally sucked, but to pass the time I went shopping. I ran into Lahni at Target which was great because I rarely get to see her since she has replaced me with new friend (he he he). Then I came home attempted to clean the house. However, it just seemed to get dirtier. Once I went to bed, Luci refused to sleep and by 3 a.m. I had a total meltdown. Mama took the baby and I slept until one today. I was TIRED. When I got up, we all began cleaning - like seriously cleaning. The house looks much better - well except the living room. That's because every five minutes, Luci comes through it and destroys everything. Currently there are toys and cocoa puffs everywhere. Sigh. Well, I have a doctor's appointment in the morning and a meeting at Keaton's school and then the bestie will be here at noon! Yay for Mandie! :-)

Back to life in Mississippi
Coming back home from Philly was definitely an experience. Tony dropped me and Luci off at the airport around 11 a.m. We did a little shopping in the airport before I realized the plane was leaving in ten minutes. I rushed to the gate only to realize that I was at the wrong gate. I then had to rush the the other gate and was the last person to board. Tony had already started driving to Mississippi so I knew that I would be in some kind of trouble if I missed my flight, BUT I didn't! Luci did great on the ride to Atlanta. Once we got in the Atlanta airport, I checked to see where my gate was (so I wouldn't get left in Atlanta) and then me and Luci chowed down on some Popeyes chicken. When it was time to board the flight, we were like the third to board. We got settled in our seats and waited to go. Then Luci decided to be all crazy and start crawling all over the place. Then, on the way to Gulfport she tickled the guy sitting next to us and played pica-boo with the man behind us, all while spilling an entire Dr. Pepper on my new dress from New York. UGH.
We've been home a few days now and life is getting back to normal. We went back-to-school shopping Saturday night (tax free). Afterwards, we ate dinner and I noticed that Tony's eye wasn't closing when he blinked. I asked him about it and he said the left side of his face was numb. So, I rushed him to the emergency room. They diagnosed him with Bell's Palsy and but him on anti-virals and steroids. The entire experience was so scary. Since then I have just laid all over him and made him stop smoking. However, I keep catching him sneaking to his storage room to smoke. It's most annoying. But, I'm still working on him. :-)

Vacation Day Eight
Today was a wonderful day. We woke up to Tony's mom and donuts. We visited for a while and then got dressed and headed to have lunch with Dave and his wife, and Dave's parents. I love them! They are awesome! Then we walked around the mall for a bit. Later on, we (me, Tony, Heather and Kevin) met up with Justin and his girlfriend for dinner at a little Italian place. We had so much fun. We were there for three hours before we finally decided to leave. Now, it's time to pack and I'm so sad to leave. I am going to miss everyone so much!!!

Vacation Day Seven - Phillies Game
Today I really felt myself slowing down. I think the vacation and all the fun stuff we have been doing is just too much for me! I am exhausted!!! But, I pulled myself out of bed and headed to the Phillies game. It was so exciting because we love the Phillies and today was a fan photo day where we stood out on the field and the players came by and we were able to take pictures. Unfortunately, it was 100 degrees outside (literally) and I was about to die. I went back up to the seats and Tony stayed down to take the pictures. Two hours late the game started but I only lasted to the third inning before I felt like I may drop dead. So, we left. I felt so bad considering all the time, energy and money Tony invested into getting us to the game. I cried I felt so bad, but I guess that's life. :-(

Vacation Day Six
Today was great. We got up and headed out of our hotel on the Jersey Shore. Once we got back to Philly, we went to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and a Darwin museum. It was totally cool (I love history!). After that, we went to this awesome mall with these great stores (I'm going back there before we leave!) Then we headed back to Heather's so me and Luci could take a nap. We were so exhausted. Around 6:30 p.m. we all got up and got ready to go out. Heather, Kevin (Heather's b-friend), me and Tony headed to a casino and then a bar. We had a blast! Now, off to bed. Soooo sleepy!

Vacation Day Five
Today was a long day! We got up early and headed to Wildwood, New Jersey. We got a hotel on the beach and got settled in before heading to the boardwalk for lunch. Then we swam for awhile back at the hotel. I have pictures of Luci in the pool. She kept trying to swim and it was so adorable! Then we rested for awhile in the room while Luci took a nap. We finally had to wake her up and we headed to the boardwalk for dinner. We ate at this 50s diner and it was super cool. Luci loved the food and it had a great atmosphere. Then we walked the boardwalk for the next four hours playing games and eating yummy boardwalk treats. We just made it back to the hotel and I swear my feet feel like they are about to fall off. Headed back to Philly in the morning! Yay!!

Vacation Day Four
Well, today was definately a rest day. Luci and I stayed in bed until 3 p.m. We would wake up, play for awhile and then go back to sleep. Once we were finally up and dressed, we drove like twenty mintues to the nearest Sonic. Oh, it was wonderful! I was a happy girl. Then we ate dinner (yummy pizza of course) and Tony's aunt's house, then headed back to Tony's sister's house for the night. Wildwoods, NJ in the morning for a day on the boardwalk!

Vacation Day Three - New York City
We got up super early today and headed to New York City. DREAM COME TRUE! We parked in Staten Island and took the ferry to Manhattan. It was amazing. We shopped and walked for almost 12 hours. There is so much that can be said about New York. But, I'm just gonna say this: It was life changing. It was captivating. I am seriously thinking about packing up the kids and moving there. Seriously.

Vacation Day Two
Day two of our vacation started with sleeping in. We tried catching up on our sleep but Tony had to get up early, of course. Luci and I, however, slept in til around noon. It was great! Then we got dressed and went to the mall. I went into a Macy's for the first time....it was just like Dillards. So, then we came back to Heather's and got ready to meet Anna for dinner. We went to Chickie's and Pete's and ate some yummy food. I had a Philly Cheese Steak...second one I've had since I've been here! SO yummy! Luci absolutely loves it and every time I give her a piece she does the infamous Yum Yum dance! Too cute!
New York City first thing in the morning!!!

Vacation Day One
So day one of our vacation has come to an end. It was so fabulous. Tony woke me and the baby up around 9:30 a.m. and we got ready to go to the marina. Tony's parents have a boat there, so we drove over to New Jersey and ate breakfast there (they had grits and they were good!) It was so funny because the lady asked Tony what he wanted to drink and he said sweet tea. Oh I died - too funny! I have make him a southern man! LOLOL Then we all went on the boat for awhile. We went up and down the Delaware river and got to see Philly from the river. It was amazing! Even Luci liked riding on the boat - however, she did get so relaxed that she took a nap right there on Tony's lap. After that, we went to the pool at the marina then headed to Tony's parent's house in Jersey. We ordered dinner and I proceeded to eat the best pizza and Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches I have ever had in the life! Praise the Lord!

Pool Party...again!
I really can't sleep, but just as I got up to write a nice, long blog, it starts pouring outside. That always helps me sleep. So, I guess I will have to cut this short. Lots have been going on. We have been remodeling our house (fun, fun) and dealing with an SOB of a contractor. We love the guys working, but the contractor is a total ass. We haven't seen him one time since handing him the check. Anyway, long story short, he left a very ugly message on my voicemail (after Tony called one of the guys who actually works here about cleaning up a mess they left). Tony was very upset about the message but the contractor would not answer when he called. So, last night at Jaeleigh's pool party, Brad heard the message and called the guy. Surprise, he answered. The conversation that followed was stressful, for me anyway. There were lots of f-bombs and "I'm gonna punch your teeth down your throat" comments. Needless to say, I doubt that I'll get anymore rude voicemails. ;-)
After that we all got our eat on (fabulous hot dogs - thanks honey!) and swam. My great friend Mary drove 2 1/2 hours just to be here and she stayed the night. I love her! My family was here along with my friend Melanie. It was a great ole time. And, with some hot dogs and wine coolers, we were happy and tired by midnight....

Changes
We drove to Texas today to pick up Veronica. What a long drive. It was ok though. She looks so grown these days. It's so weird to have a child that old...LOL
So, she will be living with us for the next two years or so while her mom is in Iraq. We got a bunk bed for Jaeleigh's room and bought Veronica her own stuff. We hope she feels at home here.
Have I mentioned the pool is up and it is totally fabulous. We love it! Everyone come over and swim!
Father's Day is next weekend and Papa is coming down, so that is a perfect excuse for a cookout and pool party. Then the weekend after that is Jaeleigh's birthday party and we are having another pool party and a special "hotdog bar." That should be quite interesting. LOL YUUUUUMMMM
We are currently remodeling some stuff around the house. The deck around the pool is going up Monday and our new kitchen should be done this coming week. We are also putting in french doors and taking out the door to the man room and putting in a window and brick. It will then be an official bedroom, making my house a 4-bedroom! Yay! I need it with all these childrens...LOL

Goodbye Emeril's
We dropped the kids off at Wendy's and left for a night out (Luci screamed the entire time we were gone). However, Tony and I were able to leave the house alone tonight and eat at our favorite restaurant - Emeril's. It is the place we celebrated our engagement, our anniversary, birthdays and special occasions. Tomorrow - its doors close. I am sad. Apparently they were not making enough money down here. So sad. I am so very happy that we were able to get out, get dressed up and go eat there one last time. It was so nice. :-)
On our way out the door, Tony stopped to play a slot machine and won $300. Ah, good night. :-)

Seriously?
Today started off with me picking Keaton up from Head Start to take him to the base for his physical. For some reason, Head Start requires it. Whatever, right? So, we get there. He puts on the charm for his doctor (who he loves) and then we head down the hallway to the lab. Apparently, Head Start requires a blood test with said physical. I calmly tell Keaton that the doctor just needs to check his blood to make sure it is healthy. Keaton loses it. And, when I say loses it, I mean L-O-S-E-S it. I have never seen this child act so insane. It took four woman and a huge dude to hold him down. He screams "NO, NEVER!!!!!" Then finally got the blood. He then runs out of the lab, down the hall and around the corner (all while screaming his head off). Four nurses run after him and then around the other side and up the other hall. I just stood there in disbelief - and embarrassment. The doctor is able to calm him and then carries him to me. He looks at me and starts punching and slapping me! My sweet baby was beating me up! I was so horrified. I grabbed him and headed to the car. I called Tony and made him wait inside with the Head Start paperwork so the nurse could write down the blood test results. When we returned home, Keaton swore he would never act like that again - and in the same breath asked to play the video game. Seriously?? .... Needless to say he did not play the video game.

Serta Sucks
I am highly ticked off at Serta. Here is what I just wrote them:
I am very disappointed with Serta. I purchased a
mattress and bed from Mattress Direct in Gulfport, MS
nine months ago. The bed already falling apart and the
mattress is so uncomfortable with big, rolling lumps all
over. I took pictures that I guess did not show quite the
1 1/2 inch dip (even though the lump was deeper than
the brick they gave me). I received a letter saying it wasn't
quite deep enough to warrenty out and resubmit when
it gets worse. Seriously? That is poor customer service. Why
would I want to buy from you in the future with this treatment?
What an expensive mistake.

New House?
Me and Tony have been thinking about selling our house and buying a new, bigger one. So, I found this fabulous house down the street. It's PINK and victorian. The only issues is it's $299, 000. WOW - that's a little more than our budget. But, I have an appointment to go see it! Yay! And, we have a realtor coming to the house tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. to evaluate our house to see if we can even sell it. If not, we may add an addition and a pool! Woot!

Sleeping baby and sweet quotes.
So I am currently attempting to get Luci to sleep in her bed. It's 2 pm and I just laid her down in her bed. Only took about five minutes of screaming before she went to sleep. Yay! Night time is not so easy. Usually Tony is sleeping and she knows it. So, she will scream her head off until I pick her up. So I totally need advice. Ugh!
Me and Mama just finished applying my chocolate brown vinyl lettering to my wall in my bedroom. It's so sweet. It says, "You were nothing I ever expected and everything I ever dreamed..." I got it to express my love to Tony.
Tony will be like, "ok, whatever."
Ha. Got to love him.

Acid Issues
So Tony told me that the girls he work with don't like me. He said that I look mean when they see me...I'm kinda sad because I want people to like me. My shrink told me today that what other people think of me is none of my business. That made me feel better. :-)
Luci went to the doctor yesterday because she has been screaming for like three weeks. We thought that she was just teething (considering she went from zero teeth to six teeth in five days) and that she had a cold because he nose would not stop running. We had tried cold medicine and nothing worked...so long story short, she has acid reflux. Well, we knew that, but Keesler stopped covering her meds so I thought that she had probably grown out of the it anyway and didn't think about it again. Turned out that the runny nose was ACID from her stomach. Oh, great. What a wonderful mother I am! For three weeks I have let my baby suffer. I feel horrible. But, now she is medicated and happy...most of the time. 80 percent of the time she is crying because for some reason she is terrified of me leaving her. So, if I put her on the floor so I can do laundry, take a bath, clean, etc., she screams bloody murder. This too shall pass...

I CAN NOT SLEEP
So aggravating...ugh. It's 5 o'clock in the morning...and I am wide awake. But, I had a great Saturday. Me and Luci got our spa on. Hair, nails, etc. Super fun. When I got home, Tony and I went to the casino for like five hours. We had dinner and then he started on some table with cards and such ...and I just drank the free cocktails...by the time I got home I was all goofy and stuff. Ha. LOL But, that didn't last long - soon Luci was all over me and crying and so on.

New Washer...Yay!
The day is finally coming to an end. I started cleaning the house earlier but it still needs a lot of work. I got the new washer this morning so me and Mama started washing clothes. We had five days worth piled up! But, the new washer is super cool..and red, which makes it even cooler. LOL
The ex-husband just came to get old washer. He is good at fixing things so I figured he may be able to fix it pretty cheap. At least that way its not wasted. Was good for kids to see him.
Now, my head is killing me...oh and my feet hurt. Ugh, I think I'm just tired. I have been staying up way too late so hopefully I will be able to go to sleep in a few minutes. Besides, my sheets are freshly washed and calling my name.

Uninvited Kiss
So Tony just kissed me goodnight and Luci was sitting in my lap. She was unamused by his lips so close to mine and promptly inserted her index finger in between our lips. Of course we had to do it a couple time just because it was so funny and she just kept making this grunting noise which showed her distaste. Funny little girl. LOL
Phone Drama and more...
So my Hero is not working right. I got lotion in my microphone and now I can't hear anyone talk. So frustrating! But, I got my headphones and plugged them up and now I can hear! Yay! Now I am on the phone with Jamie, catching up with some very interesting drama. Loves it!
Luci is crawling around all over the floor and now she is climbing up the tv stand and pulling down the pictures...ugh. Most annoying. Oh, and she has four teeth! FOUR TEETH! She is gonna start chewing on everything!
I think I am about to go to Sam's. I need wipes and diapers for this kiddo and her nasty butt.... :-)

Hmm, what a night...er, morning.
So I totally have my nights and days mixed up. I have a hard time staying awake during the day and I can't sleep at night. Luckily Luci sleeps when I sleep so I am not the walking dead. It sucks though, I want to be like Tony and rise with the sun and then go to sleep with him at night...well, he goes to sleep at 8 pm so I would have to think about that some more.
I have lost 7 pounds since March 1st so far with my diet. Ten all together but I have gained three back since Mama has been here. We have an awful diet together. LOL We are gonna have to talk about what we eat together, maybe stop running to Sonic everysingleday. :-)
Oh and I got a new laptop. Its a Mac and I love it. Can't believe that I stayed with the PC world so long, especially Dell. Dell sucks! OMG so bad. I have three in the last five years and they do not last and they just suck overall. Switching to the world of Mac was kinda scary at first but I adjusted well. Now, it's like I have always had it. I love you Apple!

Returning to the world of blogging...
So I have decided to give this blogging thang another try. I used to blog a lot in MySpace but I just got tied of MySpace so I stopped blogging. Here we go again. Luci is EIGHT months old. I can't believe it. She is so beautiful and sweet. She is such a joy and a blessing. Jaeleigh is 6 going on 16 - a little diva smart-ass. Keaton is still sweet but just as bad. Life is really good. I didn't know life could be so good. Tony is wonderful and makes me so happy. I hope nothing bad is lurking around the corner.
