Coming back home from Philly was definitely an experience. Tony dropped me and Luci off at the airport around 11 a.m. We did a little shopping in the airport before I realized the plane was leaving in ten minutes. I rushed to the gate only to realize that I was at the wrong gate. I then had to rush the the other gate and was the last person to board. Tony had already started driving to Mississippi so I knew that I would be in some kind of trouble if I missed my flight, BUT I didn't! Luci did great on the ride to Atlanta. Once we got in the Atlanta airport, I checked to see where my gate was (so I wouldn't get left in Atlanta) and then me and Luci chowed down on some Popeyes chicken. When it was time to board the flight, we were like the third to board. We got settled in our seats and waited to go. Then Luci decided to be all crazy and start crawling all over the place. Then, on the way to Gulfport she tickled the guy sitting next to us and played pica-boo with the man behind us, all while spilling an entire Dr. Pepper on my new dress from New York. UGH.
We've been home a few days now and life is getting back to normal. We went back-to-school shopping Saturday night (tax free). Afterwards, we ate dinner and I noticed that Tony's eye wasn't closing when he blinked. I asked him about it and he said the left side of his face was numb. So, I rushed him to the emergency room. They diagnosed him with Bell's Palsy and but him on anti-virals and steroids. The entire experience was so scary. Since then I have just laid all over him and made him stop smoking. However, I keep catching him sneaking to his storage room to smoke. It's most annoying. But, I'm still working on him. :-)
